Have the Leadership Qualified Press Operator Duties Job Description Responsibilities: Configure and run a variety of press equipment (hydraulic and mechanical) to shape and form metal components in accordance with specifications and drawings pertinent to our activities in Chennai. Maintain consistent part quality and effective production rates in our Chennai factory by closely monitoring machine operation and adjusting pressure, speed, and feed as needed. Follow the maintenance plan for our Chennai site while performing routine maintenance on press tools and related equipment, such as lubricating and making simple adjustments. In order to minimise downtime in our Chennai production line, troubleshoot minor machine faults and promptly report any severe concerns to the maintenance team. Make effective tooling tweaks and alterations as needed for various production runs. Skills: the capacity to correctly read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints, including GD&T, while abiding by Chennai's industry norms. competence with a variety of precision measurement tools to guarantee dimensional accuracy. understanding of different metals and their forming characteristics, taking into account the materials frequently utilised in Chennai's industries. Strong problem-solving abilities, mechanical acumen, and the capacity to diagnose and fix simple machine operation problems.
