Obtain Better Expertise as an HVAC Technician Job Description Primary Task: To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, ensuring efficient operation and optimal climate control for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications, blueprints, and relevant building codes. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and failures using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to aid in diagnostics and repairs. Explain system operation and maintenance procedures to customers. Handle refrigerant and other hazardous materials safely and in accordance with environmental regulations. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and evolving regulations in the HVAC field. Required Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their operation. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills in English (proficiency in Tamil may be an advantage given the location).
