Depending on the machining program and material specifications, choose, install, and modify the proper cutting tools, tool holders, and inserts. To guarantee surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy, enter and modify machine offsets and parameters. To ensure first-piece quality and conformance to specifications, conduct trial runs and make the required modifications. To ensure accuracy, examine first-off parts with precision measuring tools (such as gauges, micrometres, and callipers).
