Thorough record-keeping, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to run a safe and well-run store are prerequisites for this position. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, verifying against purchase orders and delivery notes. Organize and store items in a logical and accessible manner within the designated storage areas, considering factors like shelf life, temperature requirements, and accessibility. Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records. Prepare and process inventory reports, including stock levels, shortages, and damages. Handle damaged or expired goods according to established procedures. Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed. Skills: Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to perform basic data entry and maintain records accurately. Physical ability to lift and move moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
