Launch Your Technical Career Equipment Engineer Job Description Primary Task: To manage the lifecycle of manufacturing equipment, from selection and installation to maintenance and continuous improvement, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety. Responsibilities Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of equipment. Conduct performance testing and validation of new equipment. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components. Develop and implement repair procedures and coordinate repair activities. Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance. Required Abilities: Strong knowledge of various types of manufacturing equipment and their operation. Experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
