Punjab farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal ended his indefinite hunger strike on Sunday. He had started the hunger strike in November last year over several demands of the farmers. He announced the end of his strike at the Kisan Mahapanchayat held in Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab. Addressing the people present there, Jagjit Singh Dallewal said, 'You (farmers) all have asked me to end the fast unto death. I am indebted to you for taking care of the movement.
