Responsibilities To design tools, interpret engineering drawings and specifications. For the production of tools, choose the right materials and manufacturing techniques. In accordance with design specifications, fabricate and assemble tools, jigs, fittings, and moulds. Identify and fix tool faults and failures. Create and put into practice tooling strategies to lower costs and increase manufacturing efficiency. Required Abilities: Strong understanding of machining principles and practices. Ability to operate and maintain tool room equipment. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and instruments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
