Renewable Auction ACME Cleantech’s refusal to accept 54 MW: What really happened in renewable auction? Why did ACME Cleantech reject the 54 MW offer in NTPC’s 3000 MW renewable auction? In NTPC’s 3000 MW ISTS connected renewable auction, ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. initially bid Rs 5.05/kWh for 250 MW. However, after the e-reverse auction (e-RA) on March 22, 2024, ACME revised its bid to Rs 4.73/kWh, making it competitive but placing it in the "Yellow Zone." Due to NTPC’s bucket-filling method, ACME was allocated only 54 MW instead of its full 250 MW bid.
