The ideal applicant will be well-versed in data analysis, process improvement techniques, and manufacturing concepts. Responsibility: Examine current manufacturing procedures to find areas where cost, quality, and efficiency can be increased. Create and execute process enhancements using automation, lean manufacturing concepts, and other optimisation strategies. Create and put into place new production procedures for either new or modified items. Create and keep up-to-date production documentation, such as process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job instructions. Track production performance indicators, such as yield, cycle time, and downtime, and spot patterns and areas that need work.
