Hiring Now VTL CNC Operator with Experience Job Description A highly qualified and driven VTL CNC Operator is needed to join our vibrant manufacturing team. Operating and maintaining Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs) to strict specifications will be an essential part of your job as a VTL CNC Operator, helping to produce high-precision components. What you will do: Configure, run, and keep an eye on VTL machines to manufacture parts according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints. Utilise the proper lifting equipment (such as cranes or hoists) to load and unload large workpieces onto and off the VTL. Accurately choose and install workholding devices, fixtures, and cutting instruments. Verify part dimensions and tolerances during in-process inspections by employing precision measuring tools (such as dial indicators, micrometres, and callipers). What we need: demonstrated expertise in setting up, running, and debugging VTL machines. the capacity to read and comprehend intricate job instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings. basic knowledge of programming in M-code and G-code (recommended). the capacity to securely lift and handle large, heavy objects.
