Develop Your Area of Expertise Paintshop Production Engineer Job Description We are looking for a Paintshop Production Engineer who is driven and results-driven to join our team. As a Paintshop Production Engineer, you will be essential to increasing paint shop productivity, guaranteeing product quality, and boosting efficiency. What you will do: Analyze and optimize existing paint shop processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve paint quality. Troubleshoot and resolve paint equipment malfunctions, including spray guns, ovens, and other paint application systems. Monitor paint quality and identify and resolve paint defects (e.g., orange peel, runs, sags, fisheyes). Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including visual inspections and paint film thickness measurements. What we need: Strong understanding of paint shop operations, including paint application techniques, surface preparation, and paint chemistry. Knowledge of paint equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and other paint application systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
