Job Description - Supplier Quality Engineer - Chennai - Oragadam Responsibilities: Handling of Receipt inspection activities in all shifts. Day-to-day receipt inspections parts sampling inspection & report preparation. Handling of supplier quality issues affecting inhouse performance. Coordination of Internal & customer audit related to Receipt inspection & Supplier Quality Assurance. Audit for parts storage & get the corrective actions from the relevant team. Responsible for overall calibration with external laboratory. Support for customer requirements related to suppliers documents. Handling of suppliers individually for all plant support activities. Coordination with suppliers to get the corrective actions for the defect supplies. Preparation of supplier audit plan & completion of the audit as per schedule. Exposure in handling Plastic, Rubber parts manufacturing suppliers. Exposure in handling of ED coating & Painting suppliers. Exposure in handling of overseas suppliers & preparation of the audit plan and completion of the audit. Exposure in the problem solving technique for inhouse & suppliers.
