Effective communication is essential when interacting with internal teams, providers, and insurance companies. Documentation: Keep thorough records of every action related to denial management. Skills: Expertise in Denial Management: Proficient in the concepts and practices of denial management. Medical Coding and Billing: Medical billing and coding (ICD-10-CM, CPT) proficiency. Insurance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of insurance laws and payment procedures. Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and spoken communication.
