Parables?

Why parables? This is a KJV Bible study guide.

Jesus spoke in parables many times; why? Read for yourself.
Matthew 13:13, 35; Mark 4:11-12 (not everyone is meant to be converted and have their sins forgiven. I wonder why?); Luke 8:10; Parables have a hidden message not meant for everyone; they aren't just nice stories for our enjoyment (bedtime stories), as some like to say. Why are some given understanding and some are not given understanding? Hmm??? Something to meditate on.

God used parables as well.
Psalm 78:1-7;

Which parable did Jesus tell us to learn? He commanded us to learn it!!!
Matthew 24:32; Mark 13:28;

Why do people not study the Bible themselves?
Isaiah 42:18-22 [your choice, you can choose to hear the truth, or not]; Hosea 4:6; They reject knowledge. 2 Timothy 4:3-4; Some don't want to hear the truth. Study Proverbs 19:15, 21:25, 26:13-16;

What does sottish mean? (H5530 = fool, in Strong's Concordance):
Jeremiah 4:22; How does a fool act? Foolish! They reject knowledge, and accept evil.

Spirit of slumber, strong delusion, believe a lie:
Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 6:9-10, 29:10-12, 42:18-22, 59:10 [groping around for truth, but can't see it]; Matthew 25:5; Romans 11:7-8; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11; If you feel the urging, spend more time with God and ask for help from Him in your prayers to attain more knowledge, wisdom, insight, and understanding [James 1:5]. You will be truly surprised at what is really in the Bible, compared to what you have only heard up to now.

What does God think of those that have the spirit of slumber and are not watching? Isaiah 56:10-12 tells you! Shepherds that can't understand is God talking about Pastors and Bible teachers that don't understand His Word.

Seek the truth, and you will be guided into all truth (by the Holy Spirit):
John 14:26, 16:13-15; Ephesians 1:17;

Understanding is not meant for everyone. Being spiritually blind and deaf might be a forgivable condition of sorts. Remember what Jesus said on the cross; “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Matthew 13:14-15; Luke 23:34; Acts 3:13-17 [done in ignorance]; Romans 11:7-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 [should believe a lie, why? For their own protection, maybe? Hmm???]; 2 Peter 2:21;

Remember the old saying; ignorance is bliss!
