In the earnings call this morning, Activision Blizzard confirmed that WoW Cataclysm Classic total subscriber numbers have dropped by 7.8 million, to 7.6 million. The drop isn't huge however, it's not as dramatic than the same time in the past, when subscribers decreased by more than 1 million. BlizzCon 2014 is scheduled for November 7-8. Blizzard entertainment announced today that BlizzCon 2014, the annual two-day celebration celebrating all things WoW Cataclysm Classic, StarCraft as well as WoW Cataclysm Classic --will be held on November 7 and 8. As in the past, BlizzCon 2014 will be held at the Anaheim Convention C, just 20 minutes away from Blizzard entertainment's base situated in Irvine, California. If the past serves as a precedent, you'll need to get your tickets in a hurry, as BlizzCon tickets usually sell out quickly. Tickets to BlizzCon 2014 will be available in two batches. The first of that will be available May 7, and the second batch will begin selling on the 10th of May. Tickets are $200 plus fees and taxes. There's also the option to purchase tickets for an evening prior to the event that will benefit children at Children's Hospital of Orange County beginning the 14th of May. Tickets are available for $750, and the profits benefit the hospital.
