God, our righteous judge!

This is a KJV Bible study guide.

Praise God for our blessed salvation! We know that we are unworthy, that we are sinful, that we have broken his law over and over. But He has saved us (after “true” repentance only)! Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are made clean. Now that we have trusted in Jesus Christ as our redeemer, God sees us with all the righteousness of Christ. One day, God will judge all people based on their deeds. He will separate the righteous from the unrighteous, and, in righteousness, He will judge the world. Those who have escaped judgment in our day will be punished on that great day. God will pour out His wrath on all the unrighteous, because He is God, Our Righteous Judge; the one and only Judge. We will be judged according to the standards of God not the standards of humans!

Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead

Romans 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
Romans 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

1 Corinthians 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
1 Corinthians 4:4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
