The Ahmedabad polymer market witnessed a marginal rise in the Polyamide 6 (PA 6), grade E35 prices. Today as per an update from Indian Petrochem analysts the prices of the commodity has increased up to Rs 203/kg on July 24,2024 from Rs 202/kg on July 23, 2024. A hike of Rs 1/kg, the sources added. Polyamide 6 (PA 6) is also known as Nylon 6 or polycaprolactam. It is one of the most extensively used polyamides globally. It is synthesised by ring-opening polymeriz ation of caprolactam.
